Turn Music OFF/ON

The Cinema City International Film Festival is proud to present its Second Yearly Event, March 9th and 10th, 2008.  There will be a 2-day screening competition for TV Pilots, TV Pilots Scripts, Music Videos and Commercials.

This star-studded event will take place at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Avenue of the Stars in Hollywood, California. There will also be a Black-tie Gala honoring festival winners and a Charity Event benefiting several groups involved with preventing and treating burn injuries. Additionally, special recognition will be given to US Military personnel who have suffered severe burns in the line of duty.

Come walk our red carpets and promote your projects and get the well-deserved attention and publicity you need to be a successful independent filmmaker as well as helping us raise funds for a good cause.  We hope to see all of our past filmmakers as well as welcoming new ones.

Sincerely,

Submissions must be in DVD format.  Send 2 copies.  TV Pilot Scripts must be submitted in script format.

This Is War: Memories of Iraq, the feature length documentary that has everyone talking. Bold, brash and a little sick, This Is War takes viewers inside Iraq and reveals the story that can only be told by the men and the women living the deployment. Although featuring members of the Oregon National Guard 2/162, This Is War is really the story of all of America’s warriors that have been deployed.

Not a movie for the Left or the Right, This Is War the reality, hopefulness, hopelessness, fear and joy in Iraq through the video and photos of the soldiers themselves, as they survive intense combat and the hunt for IEDs that define their mission.

All the critics agree: This Is War is unlike any war movie ever made.

All sales of This Is War: Memories of Iraq help to support the Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund, the National Combat History Archive and the Iraq/Afghanistan Oregon Memorial Fund.
